thatmotherssireedessb] Desiree
Pronunciation:(DES-AR-EE)
Nickname(s): N/A
Gender:Female-Leopardess
Age:Three Years of Age
Breed:African Leopard
Pride:None
Description:A thick molten gold colored coat surrounds her fit, muscular body. Her slim, but powerful form embodies the golden grass of the savanna perfectly. To help the exotic cat blend in the shadows, she is covered with dark spots, sprinkled lusciously all over her sleek, muscular form. Amber's underbelly is a lighter color, more of a cream than the rich gold of her main pelt. Her tail is almost as long as her, and thick with fur.
Desiree's face is stunning, slim, and refined, with sharp cheekbones, and a dark pink nose. The leopardess’s eyes are her most obvious feature, however. They are slanted slightly, to give her a coy, flirtatious, look. They are the color of glorious amber, with a line of emerald around her black pupil. Her eyes are out lined in jet black, putting more emphasis on the startling pair of orbs.
The beautiful feline is an average sized leopardess, and still growing, her long powerful legs lead down to four soft paws, all reveling the tips of her talon-like claws. When the cat chooses to slacken her maw, she reveals her two rows of white, glistening ivories, her weapon of choice. Desiree’s voice is smooth and alluring, and has a siren effect on, you; she calms you with her mysterious golden eyes, and mysterious voice, but at the same time, everything about this cat sends shuddering chills up your spine.
My Understanding: Ever since Desiree was young, she had the tendency to be a bit of a trickster, and carried that trait into adulthood. She is a sharp as a knife, and sly as a snake. She is also flirtatious, and seductive, not afraid to bat her eyelashes and flick her tail. But do not be fooled, under this layer of alluring eyes, and a flirtatious attitude, lies a fierce, and deadly warrior, and exceptional huntress.
Desiree is a creature of mystery, never one to stay long, preferring to be on the move at all times, flicking in and out reality between the tall savanna grasses. She doesn’t want to find love, or make connections. For as brave and as powerful as Desiree is, she is terrified of love. She finds love a hard thing to get a grip on, and she knows pain, to well, and is terrified of feeling hurt again. So, she simply does not love.
Life Left Behind:
Cub - Desiree never actually met her father, but not many leopard cubs’ do. Her mother’s name was Sarafina, an aged leopard, and Desiree was to be her last cub. But despite her age, Sarafina taught Desiree all the information that she had gathered over her years, and she has her mother to thank for her intelligence and maturity beyond her young years.
Teenager - As a teenager, Desiree was already basically on her own, her mother was weak and sick, and she was pushed into adulthood before she was ready. She was bringing down full grown antelope, while most cubs her age were simply working on the basics of hunting, and practicing on unaware lizards. It was hard for Desiree, but she managed.
Young Adult - Soon after Desiree turned two, her mother died, Desiree was heartbroken and for awhile, wandered the land, in an almost futile attempt to regain her senses. After a while however, Desiree was able to step back into reality, where she had no home, no mother, no nothing. The cat realized she had to change the way she treated herself, and set off to find a territory. And that’s what she did.
Likes: Desiree loves the hunt, the beating of her heart, like a drum inside her ribcage, the frantic calls of the animals as the dart to and fro, desperately trying to avoid her, the pounding of the hooves...She loves it. Desiree also loves the night, for it is her element. Darting through the shadows like a shadow; catching Desiree would be like trying to catch smoke. And last but most certainly not least, a warm African afternoon, where she can find a tree, and spend the rest of the day asleep in her little perch.
Dislikes: Desiree hates simpletons who giggle and act ridiculous for the amusement and approval of others. She also hates sexist males who try to be her leader-never do that with her and finally... hyaenas, if their is one thing Desiree cannot stand- it’s hyaenas.
