Apocolypse had lead Sekhmet away from the pool and was now heading towards the place where Katili was mostly found, it was strange to Aly that she knew where she was going yet couldnt see where she was going, it always had been weird, but Aly was clever, she did her best not to give away that she was blind, and it annoyed her when others asked if she was. She walked along, hearing Sekh not far behind her, using her paws subtly to find her way, but there was always on thing that Aly missed out when seeing her way with her paws, and today it was a dip in the ground, probably an old meerkat hole, Aly did not feel it with her paw and missed her footing, the next thing she knew she was rolling head over tail and hitting the ground with a thud. She let out an annoyed growl and picked herself up, shaking the dust from her pelt, she looked in Sekh's direction for a breif moment, then carried on towards the mountain, pretending as if nothing happened.

Finally, the games had ended and they were on their way to Katili. Sekhmet followed Aly carefully but not too closely. Walking closely encouraged conversation which was something she was currently trying to avoid. She needed to 'recenter' herself. She needed to think of all the answers to the hard questions should they come up. She needed not to screw this up. The lioness was not expecting the leader to be friendly or hospitable in the least. In fact, she was prepared for a fight to her death if she failed. It was succeed or die.
Despite her deep concentration in her thoughts, Sekhmet remained aware of her surroundings. Aly seemed nice enough, sure, but that didn't mean the other female wouldn't lead her directly into a trap of waiting lions. Sekhmet never let her guard down fully. She slept lightly when she did, especially with other lions in the area. Perhaps it was a piece of her instilled from her Leopard Mother. Besides, Aly interested her too much not to keep an eye on. The way she moved, seemingly checking the position of every step.
Her attention fell on a few blades of grass moving in the distance, carefully judging the size to make sure it wasn't a lioness waiting to surprise them. That was when it happened. Her attention jerked back to Aly in time enough to see her hit the ground. She sprawled for a moment, laying there defenseless before picking herself up and literally dusting herself off. A glare was given and received, cold and unfocused but pinpointed on Sekhmet's exact location. How had she not seen the hole? It was large. It was at this moment that she knew her curiosity and original guess had paid off.
Aly was blind. Sekhmet now knew it. A small smile came to her face, tail whisking with humor. It was not because the lioness had been clumsy that Sekh was amused, but in her finding out the secret. The best secrets are hidden in plain sight, after all. But that was exactly what it was; a secret. Sekhmet wouldn't be telling anyone. They continued forward as silent as they had been the seconds before. Something just happened? No, never!

Sekhmet said nothing, but there was no need, Aly could tell she knew she was blind, because when she had looked over in Sekh's direction, she was listening for her reaction, Aly had heard the soft sweeping sound of a tail through the air, and she had heard the very soft sound of weight being shifted on paws. Aly continued forwards, slowler and more cautious than before, her extended claws clinking against the hardened ground, Aly always had her claws exposed, she was ready to defend herself all the time, but she had to be, being blind meant being unable to anticipate an attack. Eventually the two females came the the edge of the plains and the begining of the mountain, Aly stopped by a tree, she sat down in the shade, she was hot and tired, she needed to rest for a while, her deep brown eyes set on Sekhmet as Aly heard her approach, her ears flickered slightly, "how long have you known?" Aly questioned her, just out of curiosity and to break the silence, she looked at Sekh, her gorgeous, deep hazel eyes, showed no life, soul or emotion, and Aly knew that Sekh would know what her question was refering to.

It was a risky move when one joined the Baya Clan. When one does not know the leader, one will find themselves facing much consequences. With that said, the true test beings.
Below the rocky terrain, cheetahs of every age were slaving beneath the scorching sun. Fear frozen in their eyes was the most noticeable feature, besides the fact their bodies bruised from cruel beatings and long term suffering. Watching from the highest point, a deep and unruly looking lion sat impatiently beneath the shadow of another rock. His own orbs, filled with hatred and bloodlust, overpowered his instinct to protect his land. As the king, he was obligated to do so, but when so many under his reign, no one ever question his authority. His maw slid into a monstrous smirk, revealing dark, blood stained canines.
The hush of a quiet voice lingered in his mind. His nostrils instantly recognized that of Aly’s scent, one never forgotten. But the second, another lioness, trailed after Aly not far behind. His disproving eyes glanced from his proud accomplishment of his pride beating the cheetahs into submission over to the two lionesses below him. A low, but deadly growl emitted from his parted maw. His auds laid flat against his skull as he ready himself into position. The king did not even have to think as the battle stance took complete control over his mobility. It was before Aly had a chance to finished her question when the Baya King jumped from one rock to the next, making a finishing move to kill his acquired target.
As the male came closer to his victim, a powerful attack was already in play. He detested anything that entered his lands without approval. His mind did not flash any thoughts as to why the lioness stood there and why she was near Aly. The only thought on his mind was to kill, to instinctively protect what was his and what he claimed as his. Even it meant murdering, which he found it as a bonus.

The pair carried on silently as if nothing happened. They slowly came upon a more mountainous terrain. They were getting close, Sekhmet could feel it like electricity pulsing in the air. The sound of distant lions and cheetahs, the torture being created here. A tree gave them shade and a short rest and gave Aly a moment to ask her question. 'Just now.' Interruption came in the foreboding silhouetted form of a battle-ready lion. Golden amber orbs had only a few seconds to register his form before he lunged forward.
Ah, yes, she had expected this, but she hadn't expected him to be quite so mighty and quite so angry. Could she fight him? Possibly but if even Aly so much as helped him in the slightest, she stood no chance. The lioness had relaxed with Aly, but upon seeing him, had tensed again. Taught muscles contracted as she leaped back, not quite out of reach. If he wanted to hit her, she'd take it, at least the first one.
Sekmet crouched, rosette spotted limbs visibly tense and prepared to act. Dark tipped tail whipped to her thigh and clung there as the end flicked. Ears went flat against her skull as she roared, fangs bared. After the initial bravado, she did nothing. Her fangs returned to their hiding place behind her lips, ears slowly came back up as she looked up at the male's face. "I am seeking to join your pride, my King." Her voice was calm, soothing, almost purred forth. It was the reverse of her more poisonous tone, a sultry note held only for those she liked exceptionally well or respected. It was also rarely used to seduce, though this was not today's purpose. She had to play things by ear, every move, every breath could be her last.
