Kizuri woke before the sun had risen over his domain, he looked around at his sleeping pride, and his eyes came to rest on his mate, Samora, who was expecting his cubs very soon, his eyes ran over her body, then came to rest on her swollen belly, she smiled to himself at the thought of being a father, it wouldnt be long now.
Kizuri rose to his feet, then silently padded out of the cave, he wandered down not far from the den entrance, here he stretched and let out a big yawn, he then sat down and began to clean his gorgeous golden pelt, the dawn air was cool and filled with the sound of birds singing, Kizuri let out a happy sigh as he watched the sun rise over the horizon, today would be another nice day.

( I thought it was about time for Katili and Kizuri to meet face to face. And for this little plot to set off)
In the darkness of the night, even before the morning set rose over the horizon, a shadowy figure stalked onto the forbidden plains. It had been about a year or two since he last saw his brother, and Katili thought it’d be thoughtful to pay a visit. One massive paw before the other, Katili moved throughout the night more silent, more deadly than a virus on the run. He sensed the resting of the Jema pride, their fowl stench surfaced through the air. His nose turned towards the sky, forcing no more precious air into his lungs. Rather than breath, he wouldn’t dare even sniff the scent of the Jema pride. But before doing so, a strange and yet femailiar scent rose through his nose. The smell of not only females in heat, but one already carrying the seed of a male. But not only a male, but his brother.
Katili saw his brother, disgracefully smug and disgustingly proud. A snarl emitted from his throat, deadly and poison like a viper. He revealed himself from the shadows, his maw high in the air, as if he alone was the king of this land too. His regal mane, dark and mysterious, was matted with dirt and dried blood. Though shorter, Katili had powerful muscles that rippled with any slight movement. The image of his brother only repulsed the evil lion. A sharp roar was released, demanding respect from others around.
"Dim, revolting brother. Wasn’t it brainless of you to keep your pride unprotected," Katili began ruefully, smirking with sharp canine revealed. "Especially, when one so large with cubs." Katili finished, looking over to the female whose not only pregnant, but less to defend herself than normal. "Such a shame if something were to happen to your mate.” The brother spoke with obvious fake sympathy and more of a threat. He quickly moved to the female, not to strike, merely to only scar the unguarded female as Katili took the chance when Kizuri was still probably dumb folded. Killing would come later.

Samora awoke from the sound of a voice non familiar to her ears. She blinked heavy eyes in the dim light of the morning sun just barley seeping through the cave. She lift her head and glanced at a darkened figure standing close to her, too close for comfort as his sent filled her lungs she gasps lightly. She let out a low growl, for he was not apart of the pride and worse he smelled of Baya. She got a second whiff of his sent that shot eerie chills down her spine. She knew not who this lion was, but she didn't like him one bit. Where was Kizuri, he was in the den with her last she saw of him. She felt sick to her stomach for felling so defenseless. What if this trespasser tried to attack her, she was heavy with cubs, and couldn't possibly fight without injuring them. She forced a snarl from her chest and began to stand to her feet.
OOC: Sorry for it's suckyness, had no muse<;_~>

Kizuri snarled as his brother approached him "you do not belong here" he growled, eyes narrowing at him, but then Katili went over to Sam, a very deep threatening growl emitted from his chest, he put himself between Sam and Katili, staring Katili right in the eyes "leave!" he demanded, his brother always had a thing about turning up and ruining a perfect day, Kizuri flexed his claws, ready to defend himself if his brother were to attack, his tail flicked in annoyance, but overall, as always, Kizuri was relatively calm, he watched his brother closely, if it was one thing Kizuri knew about Katili, it was how his cruel mind worked

As he thought, the mother to be was selflessly defending her cubs. Katili snorted at the idea, and drew into an attack position. His smirk cruelly turned into a bloodlust grin, his eyes hazy over into a dark and crimson hue. His laughter filled the plains; a sinister and nightmarish laugh that only true demons could call upon. He lashed out into the air, missing only because he was toying with his brother’s mate. His eyes locked onto Kizuri, drowning any innocent souls who dared to look.
"My apologies, dear brother." Katili spoke, a menacing snarl emitted deep within his throat. "Did I UPSET you?!" Katili called out, while at the same time, striking at his brother head on. Katili was merely playing and toying with his chosen victims. The King of the Bayas with his night dark mane laughed, as if he were insane. "Would I be wrong to kill you’re lovely mate?"

Samora snarled ferociously, she did not like to be messed with and especially now of all times. And now Katili himself threatened her life and the life of future cubs just before her. She backed up further into the den as Katili spoke, and stood in a defensive stance ready to give her life for her unborn, but not waste it. If Katili attacked her she'd be ready to give him hell before he could ever take her down, she would either kill or be killed. Samoras eye shimmered a blue-gray as she bared her canines to the threat in their den for she was now beyond angry. How dare this bastard enter here! I'll be damn if he gets to my cubs! She thought with such anger, her claws dinging into the ground and ready to strike at any moment. From this point on she was no longer just the kings mate. She was a mother, the mother, of his cubs and would kill any lion who threatened their life. Leave my den now Katili, or pay with your life! She roared at him almost blood thirsty.

Kizuri now stood firmly between his brother and Sam, he stood tall, with his chest puffed out, looking very intimidating, he did not move his focus from his brothers cruel evil eyes, all the time a deep threatening growl rising from his throat, but, if Kizuri knew his brother like he thought he did, then Katili wouldnt attack them, just meerly play and torment them, Kizuri knew that his brother wasnt stupid enough to come here and fight without his pride, Katili hated the thought of looking weak, surely he wouldnt fight Kizuri, not unless he wanted to look weak, which Kizuri highly doubted. All the same, Kizuri didnt know what his brothers game was, so he stood there, claws extended, baring his teeth at his brother, just on the off chance that Katili decided to attack, but at all times, Kizuri made sure to keep himself between his brother and his mate.
[OOC: i just had an awesome idea as to how Katili could dissapear, ok, so Katili does decide to fight his brother in a one on one combat, but Kizuri wins, Katili retreats and no one sees him for a months or so, or whatever the time length was in the plot, what ya think?]

Katili smirked viciously, laughing at how pathetic Kizuri’s mate sound. Katili focused his eyes on his brother, who looked like a wet cub. Katili knew his own pride wasn’t presence and this was part of his plan. He knew what he wanted, now that he had the appropriate details. The king of Baya held his muzzle high and glared daggers at his brother. The only thing standing in his was Kizuri and Katili always got what he wanted. With his claws extracted and fangs revealed, the dark mane lion jumped towards his brother to attack him head on.
((OoC: I know, very very short. So Kizuri and Katili can have their fight. what if the reason Katili disappears is to wait until the cubs are born and take their first son. I know they are already born, but not really right this thread. So he waits -until Blaze returns and can rp the cub- so Katili can take the male cub and raise him his own son.))

Kizuri had been watching his brother, they way he moved, the look in his eye, and he had anticipated the attack, as his brother left the ground, Kizuri side-stepped avoiding meeting Katili's fangs an claws. Kizuri then spun around as his brother landed, Kizuri let out a loud and very threatening roar, his back arched and a angry hiss emmitting from the back of his throat, Kizuri no longer looked like the calm and gentle lion he always was, with his claws extended he took a swipe at his brother, not aiming to try and kill him, but to leave a nice wound on his flank, never in his life would Kizuri kill Katili, or even amtempt to, because afterall, he was flesh and blood, his own brother.

Samora witnessed Katili and Kizuri's first attacks, and realized the situation had become far more than dangerous. She then ceased the chance to escape taking her unborn cubs out of harms way, and to assemble the Pride. She didn't want to leave Kizuri by himself and his death would be in vain if she had left and he fell, but nevertheless she knew he could handle his own and his brother. Reluctantly she climbed on top of a small ledge withing the den that lead to a smaller more narrow space between the back of den and the outside. She ducked hr head and lowered her body, inching along inside, she crawled quickly but carefully out and pushed a few rocks outward as she wiggled free from the small hole. She panted and caught her balance and breath for a moment before turning in the general direction of the savanna where the rest of the pride hunt. She raced the dawn as fast as her legs and feet allowed to carry her. And would not stop until she reached the pride for help.

Katili lowered his body on to th eground when Kizuri countered attack. Though the Baya lion was wounded on his flank, he felt little pain. His body use to the pain of combat and his mind on the death of his brother, Katili cared very little of his own safety and insanely only thought of victory. Blood rushed from his open wound, Katili only smirked at what he saw a as a pathetic attempt. He saw his brother’s mate retreat and in his mind, his very bloodlust mind, Katili thought she was running away. Pathetic, Katili thought, thinking he’d go after her after he finished Kizrui. Katili rushed from his lowered position and leaped of the rock, soaring through the air towards his brother, his opponent. Then he opened his extract claws, striking towards Kizuri’s direction.

Kizuri watched as blood dripped down his brother's flank, it was a pretty deep wound, but Katili's mind was run by power and greed, and flesh wound wasnt going to bother him in the slightest, and Kizuri was right, he ducked as he brother leaped at him again, Katili's claws catching Kizuri's back, but Kizuri was quick, he spun round and lashed out, aiming for his brother's softer underside. He knew Sam was clever enough to stay out of this and to go and find the rest of the pride, he had no doubt in his mind that she was run off, because if it was one thing Sam wasnt, it was a coward, she was far from it.

Katili, though angered, noticed his brother’s attempt to keep him alive. The lion, whose mane was almost block, growled menace towards his brother. He saw it as a weakness, a typical weakness he always knew his brother had. Kizuri was weak, soft to even kill his own brother. Katili smirked at the idea of making his brother angry. Kizrui always had a grip on his sanity and for that was never able to kill. Well, it was time to release the beast.
“What’s the matter brother? Cannot kill me?” Katili smirked devilishly. His rear legs dug deep into the sand and lifted a cloud of dust. Since Kizuri was behind him, he thought that cloud of dust would blind his opponent. Over the dust storm, Katili roar, “Now is the time you fight me with all your strength. I’ll make sure of that!” It was than Katili ran, ran towards his brother’s mate. Taking the first step in releasing his brother’s rage.

Kizuri shielded his eyes until the dust had settled some, he blinked and looked around, where had his brother got to now, he glanced around again, and then a movement caught his attention, Katili, he was running straight for Sam, but little did Katili know that she was heading right for where the rest of the pride were. All the same, Kizuri growled and let out an angry roar, Katili would not win today, he would make sure of that! Kizuri gave chase after his brother, large powerful paws pounding heavily on the earth, ears layed back, fangs bared as he closed in on his brother. Claws extended and clinking on the ground as he ran, eyes fixed on his evil brother, he still wasnt close enough to attack yet, but Kizuri's long and powerful stride brought him closer with every step.

The baya king did not know at the moment the lioness was heading towards the heart of the Jema pride. All he knew was that he had a plan. A plan involving the pregnant lioness. He would need her alive, than soon would be the correct time to pull his little ‘game’ into play. Katili ran through the Jema territory, every scenery passing quickly by. The lion with the dark mane felt the vibration of his brother rearing from behind. It was true, Kizuri was a little large than Katili, but the Baya wasn’t worried. He knew, Kizuri was angry and mad. Which was good news for Katili.
Katili easily caught up with his brother’s mate, running and matching stride with stride. She was pregnant, which meant she wasn’t able to run at full speed. Katili, already pumped with adrenaline, smirked at the running lioness. With a cruel smile, she lashed out, avoiding all incoming objects with ease. He wouldn’t hurt her, much. He didn’t aim towards anything important, but enough to cause her to slow down. That is, if his powerful attack succeeded. His mind was filled with laughter and hatred, an odd combination for anyone sane to handle. But Katili, you could tell, was enjoying his little torment.
