Exile wonders around in a strange land, she has never been through this territory before, and doesn't know who it belongs to. Her walk slows even more as her paws begin to ache from her long journey. Past a graveyard of dead elephants she finally comes to a shaded pool of water. She looks around her wearily but scenes no danger. She jumps upon a rock and then walks into the shallow end of the pool. Her body drops slowly and sends ripples throughout the cool water. She lets out a sigh of relief as her muscles begin to relax. Ex has lived on her own since cub-hood and is unaware of the terrible war between two brothers, and who's land she is in.

Oblivion snarled as he smelled a female. He trotted up to the female and growled, Your in the Baya pride lands! Why are you trespassing? He was just being his usual arrogant, rude, sadistic self. But he grinned slightly as he looked at her. Maybe they could have a bit of 'private' time? Only if she wasn't a type of female that thought she was better than a male. He had to admit, she was kind of sexy. My names Oblivion, he announced suddenly. He looked at her body and a wider grin spread on his face. He knew she shouldn't be here, but he really wanted her. Good thing for her, Oblivion had some self control. He took another step toward her, his golden mane blowing in the wind.

Ex looked up in surprise she hadn't one clue of what he just said besides his name... Oblibion~ she repeated in her head. The name sent a slight chill down her spine, enough so it rippled the water slightly. She was too tired to fight and if things got ugly she would most likely be killed. Her head lifted up and she glared at the male with burning orange eyes about to let out a warning snarl, when she changed the meaning of her stare. Her eyes glazed over him. Her own thoughts caught her by surprise... He's gorgeous~ she thought to herself captivated by his every being. She stood to her feet slowly as not to make too sudden of movements and shook the extra water from her pelt. Dipping her head in respect she calmly speaks: "My name is Exile"

Sekhmet was unlike Exile in one large way, if no others. She knew exactly who's land she was in. She knew exactly what wars were being waged. And she was interested. Sekhmet was a lioness that had always been curious in the going-ons of the world around her and at the age of four she had decided to join in the fray. She had spent the last year, since making such a decision, doing a bit of research. The lioness was ready to make her move and join the Baya Lion Pride. She liked the way they worked, what they did, and where they were aiming to go.
Rosetted paws stepped quickly into the territory, ears rotating cautiously. She didn't want any trouble springing on her. Imagine how surprised she was to see that she had arrived upon another. Another who didn't belong from what she could tell. A lion and a lioness. Sekhmet sauntered forward as the female gave a small snarl before changing her tune quickly. Deep golden eyes glanced to the male first and she gave him the slightest head bow, mostly shown by the close of her eyes. Orbs then shifted to the female, catching her name.
Sekh was calm, amused by the every day interactions taking place before her. Black furred tail tip showed that, flicking with the amusement that also sparked in her eyes. "Exile." She repeated, turning her gaze to Oblivion again. "I am Sekhmet." Her voice was not laced with the usual amount of poison today, she was on her best behavior. She did not belong here yet and her life precariously balanced on the first impressions she made. She wasn't stupid, she knew that.

Oblivion turned his head as a new female entered. He bowed his head to Exile and then to Sekhmet and sat down. Two females? Oblivion felt lucky. Too bad he couldn't have them both. Nice to meet you both, he said. Oblivion gently flicked his long tail. So what brings both of you out here? he asked in a friendly tone. His orbs traveled from Sekhmet to Exile and back again. Exile had quickly changed her mood once she got a good look at him. Did that mean she saw how handsome he was? Oblivion was so self-centered. He dug his claws into the ground, looking at the two beautiful females. What a wonderful day this was turning out to be. Oblivion's handsome golden orbs shined as he waited.

Ex walked silently out of the water and nodded her head at Sekhmet. She then turned and walked behind Oblivion and sat against a rock. I come from no pride she said in a spiteful voice remembering her past, her family and how they abandoned her to die alone. I am... she paused for a moment just passing through... she said looking down. Her heart then raced as she didn't know what else to say. Ex looked up again. Her poise held stone still, only her eyes moved, staring back and forth between Sekhmet and Oblivion trying to figure the new lions out, and what their true intentions were, she couldn't guess. But for the first time, she couldn't think clearly either. Even though she was greatly curious of the lioness, for once her attention was on one single thing... Oblivion

Had she interrupted something? Yes, she felt like something of a 'third wheel'. It wasn't Oblivion that made her feel such, but Exile. Oblivion seemed quite happy to have more than one female here. That was typical of males. It was why they loved being in prides, wasn't it? Her eyes snapped to Exile as she spoke. Just passing through?! Was she serious? Sekhmet couldn't help the unamused expression on her face. Passing through a territory was threatening your life and to have no purpose for it other than wandering was idiocy. She'd learned that the hard way once.
Well, you couldn't help the inexperienced. That was something only they could fix. Either they made it or they didn't. They weren't children and they didn't need babying. She didn't think all that poorly of Exile, she really didn't, she just felt.. older. An odd feeling for she wasn't all that old. Golden orbs returned to the male. He had asked a question and she hadn't answered. Sekh gave a small grin, a bit on the smug side of expressions, though not intentionally. "I'm seeking Katili. I am seeking acceptance into the Baya Pride." She spoke confidently and with pride. She had been preparing and waiting to say such a thing and now had the chance to.

Oblivion felt Exile's full attention focused on him. To Sekhmet, he said, I'm not sure where Katili is at the time. But I am a member of the Baya Pride. He supposed he should take Sekhmet to find Katili, or she might get in trouble for trespassing if caught alone. He glanced at Exile, still feeling her eyes on him. She seemed to get attached quick, didn't she? But maybe it was just because of his good looks. Oblivion felt a small smirk upon his face. He didn't believe Exile was just passing through. Could she really be that ignorant as to not know about the battle between Katili and Kizuri? Well, even if she didn't, she still had a smoking hot body. But Oblivion didn't want to seem desperate, for he wasn't. Being the rude, self-centered lion he was, he pretended to ignore her. If she really liked him, then that would drive her crazy. Then Exile would only try harder to get his attention. He looked over at Sekhmet, giving her a small smile.

"Obi, i hope you arent being to rude to these females" came yet another female voice from somewhere in the tall grass, Apocolypse emerged, her dark gold pelt gleaming, every one in the Baya pride knew her, for she was blind and every one knew that Katili had something planned for her in the future, she padded forwards and then sat down, her dark brown eyes seemed to look at each cat there, and it gave the ilusion to cats not in the Baya pride that she could see, she dipped her head in greeting to the other females "Sekhmet, Exile, i am Aly" she introduced herself, she then licked her sore paw, she had managed to trip over a sharp rock last time she spoke to Katili, she had cut the top of her right paw, it was no longer bleeding, but it was still sore and licking it seemed to relieve the pain somewhat

Exile turned her head quickly at yet another voice that broke her trance from Oblivion. She too dipped her head in respect to Aly as now she stared at her. She was feeling uneasy with three strangers surrounding and blocking any chance of escape. Although there were no signs of ill intentions by neither cat. Ex always treated each situation as a potential battle. She couldn't fight three at once, theres no way. She'd be ripped to pieces for sure. Ex only fought if she needed two or if one would dare piss her off enough fer her to be blind by rage and attack anything that moved. Sekhmets words ran through Exiles mind: ""I'm seeking Katili. I am seeking acceptance into the Baya Pride"". Ex has always tried to hide it even from herself, but deep inside she knew she wanted to belong to something, to anything, be it a pride or just another friend to walk by, she couldn't escape it. Without anything or one but herself for so long she truly had nothing else to live for. Others think she is mad to walk blindly into another territory, and maybe she was, but what did they know. Secretly she wanted to be found and unforgotten. But what pride would ever want a ruthless killer on their side?...
After a whole minute and some odd seconds Ex could no longer hold her stare to Aly, and she blinked. There was something... odd about Aly, Ex just couldn't place it. There was something chilling about Alys eyes. They didn't look hazed at all, but there were no signs of warmth just cold and almost soulless. She seemed to glance at all of us and yet... unless we blinked at the same time, she hadn't at all, not once. Ex looked back at the other two lions, she could tell the others were older but not by much. She sat quietly and watched tip of her tail flickering slightly back and fourth, and burning orange eyes switching between the three lions. Waiting for Oblivion, Sekhmet or even Aly to reveal more information about this pride and the land she was in.

Dang, she was good. Exile was not a pride member, of course. But Oblivion was. He did not seem like much help to find Katili, she would have to find another way. He was preoccupied. She watched the interactions between the two, unimpressed. She was in heat just the same as any other female and it wasn't that she didn't find Oblivion attractive. Sure he was, but she wasn't going to allow fun to jeopardize her chances. He gave Sekhmet a smile and she had to turn away in order to roll her eyes. First impressions, Sekhie, first impressions. He was letting her know of his ruse, which she had already noticed perfectly well on her own.
Ears perked and her attention returned instantly with the presence of another female. She was Baya. She had been listening for a while now, it seemed, for she knew their names. [b["Aly."[/b] Sekh gave another polite bow of her head, little did she know it was useless. Brains don't rattle after all. Sekhmet watched her curiously, closely, as one would with a cobra. One should always keep at least half their attention on other lions at all times, especially new ones. Perhaps this was a trait she acquired from her life as a leopard cub. Perhaps she was just intelligent.
Aly kept her focus longer than most did. She watched the careful way she placed her paws, hurt one included. It was rare that a lioness at her age would hurt her paws, clumsiness? The eerie way her eyes saw through things and never focused. Sekhmet had never met a blind creature. She knew that surely, all these details added up to something but what, she could not grasp. Her tail had stilled its amused flicking with her intense focus on Aly but returned when her head snapped back to Oblivion.
"If you two would like to be left alone..." Her tone held all the malicious poison she had been holding back in the previous sentences. It did not last long though, she toned it down as she spoke to Aly. "I'm sure I can find Katili, unless Aly would do me the favor of leading me to him."

Rude? Why would I be rude to them Aly? His eyes were not looking at the blind lioness though. He couldn't keep his eyes off of Exile. At Sekhmet's suggestion, he didn't want to seem too desperate, so he casually said, Aly? Would you like to take her to Katili? The lion peeled his eyes from Exile for the moment to look at Aly. Though he had never felt anything for her. Maybe a sort of friendship... but that was all. Perhaps it was because of her blindness? He just wished for them to leave already. Oblivion could tell Sekhmet knew he wanted to be alone with Exile. Why else would she suggest Aly take her to Katili? Sekhmet seemed to already hate him, but she was trying to make a good first impression.

Aly knew what Obi was up to, she rolled her eyes, she would take Sekh to see Katili, but Aly didnt know her very well, or Exile for that matter, she decided to string things out a bit, Obi could wait, he would have to, Aly turned her head in the direction of Sekh, she looked directly at Sekh, but the look seemed blank and lifeless, "so what is it that brings you here Sekhmet, i know you wish to join the pride, but tell us a little about yourself" Aly smiled in a friendly way, her ears twitched a little as she listened to the sounds around her, her hazel brown eyes shining bright, but there was no soul behind them

Ex stopped glancing around at everyone and turned her head directly to Sekhmet, very glad that Aly asked the question. Sekhmet seemed to know alot about this pride she wanted to join, and here stood two lions already in it. Exile who at first began to feel out of place, sat comfortable and silently and listened carefully to what Sekhmet had to say about herself. She didn't mean to stare, but couldn't help it. She didn't even know Sekhmet but the tone of her voice sent a smile across Ex's face. What lioness would speak to others with such an attitude at first meeting. And Aly, who's eyes constant stare sent chills up Exiles spine. She didn't mind though, not in the least, it actually made her feel more at ease. Even Oblivion as gorgeous as he was, was no prince charming, he approached her with a growling arrogance. She was beginning to admire them all little by little and their ways... so far. Who were these lions... really?

[[ooc :: Sucky, sorry.]] Interrogations. Wasn't that best left to the king, himself? She applauded Aly, though. She preferred to have pridemates that acted in such a way to new lionesses. She would have done it herself. All attention fell on her, but she did not appear nervous. Instead, she sat confidently, her tail curling and uncurling in a steady rhythm at her side. She thought the question over carefully, watching Aly. The lack of emotion in her eyes enticed her, made her curious to know more about this lioness as well.
Sekhmet let them stew in their thoughts and their curiosity. Golden gaze turned to each of them in turn before coming to settle back on Aly. "What is it you would like to know? Anything specific? A category perhaps?" It wasn't the best of manners, and quite aggravating to the questioner, to answer a question with another, but she needed to know what Aly was wanting to hear. Sekh was not the type of creature to simply bear her soul to others. There was nothing she found shameful in her past, but she wasn't going to tell her whole life's story. She preferred that the pride know the smallest amount about her that she could get away with. It was just the way she was.
