She stood at the edge of the woodlands, looking into it, golden eyes bright and excited, she looked behind her, she knew her siblings would follow, they always did, well, not so much her brother, he would only come if she dragged him along, her sister on the other hand was different. She turned her gaze back to the trees, a small smile on her face, she laughed a little in excitement, then ran at a slow speed through the trees so she could take everything in, her little paws meeting with the ground softly, everyday was a whole new adventure, literally.
The golden cub, sat by a tree, she looked around her, she wasnt scared of being lost like most cubs were, she loved adventure, and if she got lost it only got more exciting, this was one of the many reasons she was always in trouble with her parents. This was Suki, the first born to King Kizuri and Queen Samora, she was high-spirited, had boundless energy, and was always off exploring, either by herself or with her brother and sister, Cheveyo and Kyli. Cheveyo was more distant from her, she got on very well with him, but Suki and Kyli were almost inseparable, one wouldnt be seen too far from the other, and because Kyli was the smallest, and she had inherrited the white colouring from their mother, Suki was always being blamed, Kyli did get told off too, but not half as much as Suki, but to Suki, being told off was all part of the fun even though she hated being told off.
The young lioness, now five weeks old, looked around her again, she seemed to be alone this time, but it didnt bother her in the slightest, just then she heard a twig snap, her ears perked and eyes filled with excitement again, she stood up, slowly and cautiously she walked towards where the sound had come from, not knowing what to expect.

Tiny paws run quickly across the grass, making soft pad-like thuds as each one meets the ground. Blurs of white flash and stand out clearly against the many shades of green and brightly colored bushes and flowers close to the woodland floor. The young lioness didn't bother take precaution in concealing herself from the woodlands eyes. Instead the only conscience note in her mind was her being late, and a little lost. She followed a familiar sent and took off with the only purpose to catch up with her sibling.
Kyli could tell she was gaining on her sister for her sent was strongest now. She bounded along coming to the edge of the woodlands as the trees seemed to disperse further out and shone rays of light down through open holes in the bundled leaves. Bright golden orbs searched for a particular sight as Kyli slowed to a cautious stride, small fallen twigs and dried plants crunched beneath her paws. Through the bushes her eyes caught something golden moving slowly towards her. In her mind she thanked herself for her earlier hesitation to follow her sibling, for now she was late, and had the advantage of being it. She lowered her body to the ground raising her rump as her shoulders shifted back and forth readying her small but powerful legs to spring into action. She watched breathlessly, awaiting the moment her sister drew close enough.
Kyli smirked lightly and leaped off the ground and out of the bushes, paws out wide and smile as bright as her eyes. Surprise Suki!!! she shouted out as the vision of her sister's face appeared before hers. She knocked her to the ground (much by accident) and they both went tumbling. Kyli lay there for a few seconds stunned at her own sheer force. She stood to her feet slowly and shook her pelt free of dust and grass. She smiled again and trotted back to Suki still lying on the ground and glumped her, wrapping her paws around her waist as far as they would go. Kyli purred lightly as her head rubbed against Suki's chest in greeting. My turn! She laughed, amused, for Suki was normally better at things like finding Kyli, be it by her color or Suki's skill was just far more advanced than hers. Either way, for today, she had satisfaction of finding her, thanks to her element of lateness.
