Kuda slowly padded his way to the edge of the pool. His muscles ached, and he was extremely thirsty. He'd spent all of his energy hunting, and he had only barely caught a meal. Kuda was having an off day, but he was grateful that a cool drink of water would wash away the troubles of a day of hard work.
Kuda lapped up a few drinks of water before sighing with content. He sank to his belly, resting his head on his paws and closing his eyes. He wasn't going to go to sleep. He just wanted to be able to rest without worrying about his surroundings.
