Samora was tiring quickly, but didn't stop her powerful legs from carrying her to her destination. Although she was smaller than most lionesses, she was very fast, but her now enlarged and pregnant frame was beginning to take its tole on her speed and slowed her down much more than normal. Her muscles rippled under her pelt as she ran quickly but did so with a slight burn.
Samora's ears twitched to a sound, a close sound. Something was running behind her and gaining. She was reluctant to look back, so kept running lowering her body a bit to pick up speed, but her paws were no match to whatever followed her. She glanced over her right shoulder and saw nothing but the sound was beside her as fast as she turned her head. She turned her head back and glanced over to her left side. A huge paw lashed out and stunned her. She slowed her speed almost to a stop and froze at the sight of Katili. Where the hell did he come from? She thought, she couldn't reach the pride with him right here, and where was Kizuri? The most dreadful thoughts of what could have happened back at the den crossed her mind. If Katili was here, then Kizuri must have fallen. But still she shouldn't try and fight him. Fighting a full grown lion when sick, was dangerous and just stupid; fighting a full grown lion when heavy with cubs was neither. It would be plain suicide.
She had no idea where to go or what to do. She couldn't run anymore, her legs burned and Katili could out run her with a few strides. To reach the pride now she would have to loose Katili, but there was no shelter close by to loose him in. She glared at the dark maned lion and decided she was tired of running, he angered her so much beyond her own understanding. She narrowed her eyes and roared at him digging her claws in the earth and standing her ground. There was only one thing left she could do, right here right now. Fight the one responsible for the deaths of Kizuri and her mother.
Kizuri was pounding hard, still gaining on his brother, he stopped for a moment when Katili striked out at Sam, they were now facing each other, Kizuri gave a low growl to himself and set off at full speed, charging at his unsuspecting brother, his claws already poised for attack, as soon as he was in range he threw himself at Katili, aiming to pin his brother down to the ground, a very deep, very threatening growl emitting from his chest, "leave" he snarled right into Katili's face, he hoped that by holding his brother to the ground would give Sam another chance to try and get to the rest of the Pride.

Katili was less amused by the lioness’s attempt at scaring him off than his brother pinning him to the ground. Less forgiving than his brother, who merely attempted to keep him at bay, Katili was ready to kill. In time. As he saw the figure of his brother sprung pass him and attempted to protect his mate, Katili was already one step ahead. When Kizuri proceeded to push his evil brother, Katili braced himself and tackled full force. This would probably only end up in a draw between two brothesr. Katili, otherwise, did not realize the strength of Kizuri and misjudge how much force he should of countered attack with. Instead of falling to the ground like Kizuri hoped and without push him back like Katili predicted, they both had a chance at taking an advantage of the other as the suspended in mid air.
Katili growled maliciously, dropping from the air to the earth. His paws hit the ground with full force, an ache of pain rushed through him as his lower side smashed against the rocks. Needless to say, the large cat landed on his feet, but did not avoid damage to his unguarded stomach. He merely shook off the dizziness and ignored the pain, not even realizing it was there. Instead, the king of the Bayas eyed at the mate very eagerly. She had something he wanted and in time, he will own one.
"You have something I want."[/I] Katili responded when his brother commanded him to leave. Without skipping a beat, much faster than a heart beat, the dark lion spun from his current location and darted in front of the lioness. He didn’t reveal what he wanted and it wouldn’t be for sometime, but what’s the fun waiting. He stormed into an attack stance and positioned himself for some enjoyment. [b]"This won’t hurt a bit." Katili purred, lashing out with his canines in attempts to bite the lioness.

Samora dug her claws into the ground. She steadied herself best she could. She would protect her unborn and defend herself. But as thoughts of dying before her cubs were born crossed her mind, and by Katili only made things worse and made her muscles under her pelt tense. Her attention broke from Katili as Kizuri appeared pinning his brother to the ground. Her heart skipped many beats in relief at the sight of him. He wasn't killed, though he was still alive, the danger was still there. Kizuri demanded Katili to leave, who of course had no intentions to comply to anything his brother had to say. She was ready to take off back toward the pride again when the corner of her eye caught a flash. She turned her head, only to find Katili's fangs at her throat.
